Selected as one of four SMEs from the Philippines to take part at the Asean Food and Beverage Exhibition in Tokyo (sponsored by the Asean-Japan Center) last December 2003 to April 2004. It is at this exhibition wherein Lety’s showcased its blast frozen pies.The owner and two other companions were invited to Tokyo during the first week of February 2004 to meet and talk with prospective buyers.

Selected to receive the “International Quality Crown Award Gold Category” for the year 2004 by the Business Initiative Directions (BID), a Madrid-based (Spain) organization.

Awarded a Plaque of distinction as “2004 MOST SUCCESSFUL ENTERPRISE” in Region 4, by DOST 4 regional office last 18 November 2004. The award states “in recognition of its significant contribution in developing the buko pie enterprise in Los Banos as an export industry through its exceptional commitment to improve the firm’s productivity level and upgrade its processing facilities thereby raising its manufacturing standards to international levels.”
